Designed for heavy metal removal DIJET Exciter Mill features improved performance and a smooth, free-cutting geometry. The helical cutting action provides for fast, efficient chip dispersal while the staggered insert pattern distributes chip load allowing higher feed rates and longer insert life.

Available in both integral Weldon (2" diameter) and CAT V50 shanks (2" to 3" diameters), the massively built mills feature effective cutting lengths from 3.0" to 8.5" depending on cutter size. CAT V60, National Taper #50 and BT50 are available upon request.

Inserts are rigidly held by a positive-locking screw and are available with Titanium Nitride coating.

The optional end caps solve the problem of cutter damage. Because the end of extended length mills are more susceptible to damage, DIJET has designed an easy-to-use replacement end cap to restore a damaged cutter to 'like-new' condition. To shorten machine downtime, the end cap can be installed even with the Exciter Mill in-place on the machine.

The Exciter Mill is used for cutting 90-degree shoulders, profiling, slab milling and circular interpolation.
