Among the many innovations that DIJET has introduced into the industry was the world's first Titanium Carbide Alloy or cermet. This important development, first marketed in 1979, helped manufacturers to successfully cope with materials that were previously difficult and time consuming to machine.

In 1983, DIJET introduced the unique Hosoi Drill, which achieves efficient chip removal with its patented cutting geometry.

DIJET, in 1991, again met the challenge of the rugged cutting needs of the tool and die industry by pioneering a new concept in ball nose end mills. The design incorporates an efficient, 'free-cutting' geometry that eliminates many of the center cutting problems encountered with conventional ball nose mills.

In addition to DIJET's extensive lineup of production tools is the heavy-duty Exciter Mill. Its helical cutting action provides for fast, efficient chip dispersal while its staggered insert cutting action allows for higher feed rates and longer tool life. Replaceable end caps solve the problem of cutter damage and can restore a damaged cutter to 'like new' in just minutes.
